Natascha Weindler

Singer - Songwriter - Arranger - Choir Conductor - Teacher

Natascha began her apprenticeship for state certified music school teacher at "Berufsfacheschule für Musik Krumbach" 2018 and finished it in 2021 after three years of school and practical training. There she gained her first teaching experiences, preparing  one of her students successfully for the entrance exam of the exact education she was doing.

2021 she moved to Mannheim, Germany, where she taught at the TonARTe musicschool for one year, before moving to Arnhem, Netherlands, in 2022 to begin her bachelor studies jazz and pop vocals at ArtEZ. Soon after moving to the Netherlands she began subbing for various teachers at de Lindenberg, in Nijmegen, and some independent choirs. In 2023 she started teaching vocals regularly until this day at Studio26 in Velp.

During her studies Natascha got to know percussionist Caetano Ruin with whom she started making music as NAÉ duo in 2022. In 2023 she founded her own band called nealyna, playing original music written by Natascha herself. Through her several years of experience as a singer in the gospel band Go4Soul, she started writing vocal and choir arrangements early on in different genres, ranging from backing vocals for bands over a-capella and choir pieces to writing her own very much vocal centred originals with close harmony backings.

Since 2022 Natascha is also active as a studio musician, recording vocals for various film, game and pop music productions, often writing her own lyrics. â€‹

Very much inspired by dodie and Sofia Isella, Natascha began to develop a fascination for lyrics over the years. She started to explore the possibilities of writing in a way, the listener - or reader - has to think for themselves in order to interpret the lyrics but to give enough context for them to relate immediately. She wants to write words that have a specific sound to them and carry complex emotions next to their meaning.
